In reply to: Kelly 's message, "Celebrating Dan's life and music" on 12/16/08 4:04am

On the way into work this morning (5:05 CST) I punched the cd player and what should come on but Christ the King from the Christmas cd. And the first words I heard were... Lift your heart to the glorious season
Bid all your sorrows be still.

That echoes Jean's sentiments in the last newsletter...enjoy the season because that's what Dan would have wanted.

What a way to start the day.

Thanks Dan.

Terra, I got the willies when I read your post. The minstrel had something to say to you on this very special day. Thanks for sharing.

What a sweet moment....and such a beautiful song! It's my favorite from the album. There's just a really special feeling to it. It never fails to lift my heart, and I love singing along to it. Simple lyrics, yet they feel so profound within Dan's glorious melody. It's truly a classic.
