Hi all you fellow Danfans!!!
I come to visit here now and then and have posted a few times. Its so comforting, but not sure thats the right word--that there are so many fans that still hold a torch for Dan and his music!! I just simply can not get enough--I keep scouring the internet for anything Dan!!! All I listen to--have listened to for years now--are Dan's timeless and from experience--NEVER tiresome songs!!!No other artisit does "it" for me, but Dan!!! oh sure, I like other songs, but not with the same devoutness--I know you all know what I mean!!! It still is hard to think of Dan gone and reading that article from Jean's parents, how it sounds that the cancer took its toll on Dan--and Jean---it just makes me so sad that they had to endure that...there is a pic on Jean's gallery of Dan sailing and she says how he sailed into October of 2007, thats only 2-3 months before he passed--I was hoping he suffered little. I cant get over this feeling of unfairness-Dan just didnt deserve this fate. God Bless Jean--it really is so wonderful of her to post personal pics for us!! Being a photographer herself and with such a handsome subject--I bet she has thousands of pics!! What I would give!!!!!! LOL!!!! Cant wait for the new CD-hope she includes lots of pics!1 I,too just ordered Joe Vitale's book-cant wait to get it!!! My Best to you all!!!

Lin you hit the nail right on the head! I feel the exact same way. I am sure there are many others and it is our feelings for Dan that keep us coming back here to share our feelings and findings. Each new picture or tidbit brings me so much joy. I listen to Dan everyday and feel he will never be gone in my heart or head. It is so hard to think of him not in a human form because I hear his voice so often. No other artist will ever do it for me. Dan was too perfect in every way to have any others to compete with. He was like no other.
