Some of you might have received this via Google Alert for Dan; part of a piece written by James Kendrick for jkOnTheRun. It's always heartwarming to see plaudits instead of the infuriating bashing that so often rears its ugly head by those who are clueless and ignorant enough to argue the point.

"This week I listened to my collection of Dan Fogelberg music and man did that make me nostalgic. It’s almost magic when I do something like this and get taken away to a time long past that makes me feel all good inside. Fogelberg’s music always does that to me and it was a great experience. We all need to get nostalgic from time to time and this is my way to do that."

We're right with you, James.

Dan's music is nostalgic for me too, but I have never been able to put into words the contented, sublime feelings I get when listening to his melodies. I really do relish all his talents-his songs are so perfect to me with the melodies and lyrics blending together so perfect, and lets not forget his voice, which I think is perfect!! I have been listening to his songs, mostly only Dan, for so long now--they are all like good "friends"!!! There to cheer me up, there to console me, there to just pass the time.
