I just got this response after I clicked on the link to Dan's official site.

"Due to an increase in visitor traffic, the Web page you requested is temporarily unavailable. It has exceeded its monthly traffic allottment.

"Please try again later."

That in itself is a wonderful tribute.

Yeah, I saw that too, but it's back online now. It took me by surprise, especially because the first time I just got a black screen (no message). I was afraid the site was gone, but I tried again a little while later and got the message.

It's amazing and wonderful to know there are so many people who really cared about Dan and appreciate his music. We haven't seen it that way for a long time. I don't run into Dan fans every day, so it's really nice to know they are out there.
