Even Dan has said that he hasn't had much luck in coming to a conclusion on this one, but I just found a place in Brooklyn that claims it's all about cheesecake (and they don't even mention who originally posed the question). This is from http://www.brooklyn.net/

Who knows how to make love stay?

Tell love you are going to Junior's Deli on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn to pick up a cheesecake, and if love stays, it can have half. It will stay." Tom Mullaly offers additional advice, but none as tasty as the above.

That must be some good cheesecake, huh? That’s a funny line. But for me, it would take something chocolate.

Seriously though, I don’t think you have to "make" love stay. I believe if it’s really true love, it’s forever. Relationships can end, and what we once thought was love, can end. But how could true love have an end?

In picking up where you left off, Kelly, I know I'm inviting debate here BUT ~

I am convinced that once someone loves someone, they always will.

OK, here's your debate (I think). If by saying,

"...once someone loves someone, they always will"

you mean that they will always love that person, then I disagree. If you mean that the love you once felt will always be a part of you, then I agree. I believe it is possible to love someone intensely, and then fall out of love with that person. People change; their lives can be two lines that intersect explosively, then diverge. That doesn't mean the love wasn't real, or minimize it's impact on their lives. Once in love doesn't mean always in love. It just means you'll always be a lover, right?
