I "auditioned" to be the backup lead singer and lost out to Donny Gredell, thereby nipping my singing career in the bud. I think it is because I played the drums throughout the party and never paid attention to what was going on around the house much. You say Jerry Pederson wrecked his bicycle, I believe Bob Breit was already riding motorcycles at that point in time. And don't forget this one, Kevin. You defeated me in the Forest Heights spelling bee that year, representing Mrs. Fowler's class. I represented Mr.D's class. The spelling contest went on and on between us, and I finally got tired and mispelled the word "grease." Bummer for me.
