You know Kevin, I saw Grand Funk Railroad on their first concert tour in Little Rock in about 1970. Their famous song at the time was "Inside Looking Out." They were just starting to become the super popular band that they finally became. My mother made me dress up and wear my polyester pants and dress shoes to the concert. So when me and my friends arrived at the concert we were like ducks out of water. Everybody else had long hair and was asking for spare change. Good concert though. One of the first big name bands to come to Barton Coliseum.
