Subject: Missing the Character!!

At the beginning of the season, much was talked about the desicions made by Warren and Batchelor about getting rid of certain characters from the squad, because they wanted a squad on even level full of players who would work hard together. I think this may have been a mistake, the squad is made up of some indivudual brilliance and hard workers, but there is a significant lack of character shown on the pitch when the going gets tough. Poppies, Brock, Poole and Totton have these gritty players who are influencial!

There's no aggression in the side bar 2 or 3 and this i think has been our downfall!! Although Ben Griffiths is not a vocal player his influence on the pitch is second to none and it was a massive mistake letting him go, especially as a fan he was one of the best players last year without question!

One bonus of not going up means that Warren (if still at wimborne????) and the Cuthbury faitful will have a last chance at getting to wembley in the FA Vase!!
