If you remember Smith plus the other lad who also broke his ankle at BAT (sorry can not remember his name) were given a benefit by Ohara arranging the Arsenal game. Smith thought that was a wonderful gesture by Wimborne and when he was fit he would have signed for the Club again but the current management did not want him, so he signed for Bournemouth Poppies and was a leading factor for their excellent2007/8 season and having seen him play for Christchurch against Wimborne, he would walked into our midfield, because he rarely gives the ball away!
