Did Dave Diaper have any kind of money when he managed Bishopstoke on a Sunday afternoon or Otterbourne, BAT or even Vospers a few years back ? I think that you will find the answer to be NO ! And look at his success at those clubs ! It's not money that he wins things with - it's respect, hard work and commitment. So don't listen to the gossips, do your history and get your facts straight.
