Dear Shani - You ARE NOT a burden...to me or anyone else so get that silly thought out of your head!! People like us need others that are like us because we're all great at supporting each other and offering advice to one another. That's because we understand what others cannot. I miss you as well as Basil (in case you're lurking) and all the other regulars and miss your emails as well.

I'm in a very good place now - back on track and doing better than I ever have. I'm seeing my old therapist once a week, I go to a support group and accompany my husband to his AA meetings occasionally as well as joined the ANAD web support I listed above. I'm starting an exercise program, I take time out for myself every night and am even playing my guitar again.

You are more than welcome to email me anytime even if you just need a shoulder to lean on. It's okay, really.

And that goes for anyone else as well. Part of finding these boards and all of you in the first place was because I was eager to share my recovery experiences and although I may still have some times when I don't feel so good, that's natural but I also know I won't stay there either if I don't let myself. I'm still learning those coping skills and probably always will (I hope I never stop learning) and anything I can do to help anyone else is confirmation to myself that I am worthy afterall...not unworthy which is why I got sick in the first place. I deserve to be happy and well and so do all of you.

Hugs,
Deb
