yikes, that sounds like hell. perhaps the reason you feel like you have hypothyroidism is because of the ED? i mean, it's propensity to make us low on energy, fatigued- or even the "after effects" of ana and the toll it takes on the body. my dr has suspected hypothyroid when i went in a few months ago, but i never had the test taken. i do know one of the symptoms is rapid weight gain (which probably wouldn't make sense for either one of us) i'm not sure if that's one of the main symptoms though. then of course the factor of the ED which let's face it, makes life a hell of a lot more complicated. did your dr explain how you could possibly have hyperthyroid without displaying any of the symptoms? it does sound a little strange. hopefully, if it is the supplement you're taking, you can try to taper off it,gradually,in a way that wont make you feel like crap. i hope you can get this all figured out soon!! let us know what happens
take care
~jane~
