damn! i just read that...i've been having the same problem, lately i've been exercising a crap load- doing 5 to 10 miles a day, resistance stuff 4 times a week, only taking one day off, restricting like crazy (i abrubtly cut my cals from 900 to only 400) and pretty much NOTHING is happening...other than my heart doing the funny dance and my body not wanting to move any more....it's been 2 weeks, i lost only 3 lbs, and i feel like DEATH...i keep remembering the good old days where i could lose 3 lbs in a day, or 8 lbs in a week....now i just feel old, my body dragging. it definately was an eye opening article--it still seems insane to me, increasing cals- i might consider increasing a little perhaps but only with total elimination of fat....sorry i'm so bitter, it's just so FRUSTRATING not LOSING when you're WORKING yourself like a DOG!! i'm with ya, sister. take care =)
