Rounding a corner, P'rin does his best to glare at Dell, although the bronze firelizard is perched on his left shoulder. What with the blue wherhide eyepatch over that eye, he has to twist his head much further than really possible to properly fix his firelizard with the one remaining hazel eye. "...really not acceptable," he's saying as he comes into Evelance's earshot, obviously addressing the firelizard. "It's not funny, and it's not like I can't hear you coming. You get too excited about it. It's a pretty poor game, trying to sneak up on me, if you can't even do it quietly." Dell simply chirps innocently, sitting neatly on his owner's shoulder, tail wrapped firmly around the red-haired man's neck and one wing brushing the freckles on his owner's cheek. He'll always sit there, to guard P'rin's left side, but P'rin doesn't need to know that - he'd be annoyed to know that Caphoth worries so much that he's ordered the bronze to use that perch. Giving up on his firelizard with a heavy sigh and a dramatic flinging up of his hands, P'rin faces front again just in time to see Evelance, a few feet away. Stopping abruptly, he gives her an apologetic grin. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there. Arguing with this fellow here, you see," he adds, gesturing at Dell. She's a very pretty girl, he notes, and his eyes sparkle as he places her. "Evelance, rider of blue Darlith. Am I right? I'm right, I'm sure of it - I couldn't mistake that lovely face." Some people might find it strange to see a bluerider flirting with another bluerider, but P'rin's never cared about color distinctions. It's not like his tiny Caphoth will ever be able to fly a green, and besides, when the mutual attraction is there, who needs dragons? Although from the few rumors he's heard, making his attraction mutual will take a bit of work, with this girl. She's not known to be particularly friendly. His grin broadens; P'rin enjoys a challenge. "I couldn't help hearing you - are you looking for something?" he asks, bound and determined to be helpful.
