JULY 24: The Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra presents SUMMER POPS AT DOWNING˜AN AMERICAN SALUTE, a free concert at 4:00 p.m. in beautiful Downing Park, Newburgh. Rick Regan makes his GNSO conducting debut and popular bass-baritone Erich Tusch is guest soloist. Every child present will be invited to take a turn at conducting the orchestra. There will be a raffle of baskets brimming with goodies. Bring chairs or blankets and enjoy. The concert moves to Aquinas Hall, Mount Saint Mary College in case of rain.
