The Sunset Series, Free Movies in LaPolt Park, Presents
The Chronicles of Narnia:
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

The Sunset Series, Movies in the Park at Dark, is showing The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on Saturday, July 10, in Liberty’s LaPolt Park on North Main Street, at around 8:00 pm. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is the stunning Academy Award-winning adventure film based on the classic novel series by C. S. Lewis. It tells the story of the four Pevensie children who discover a wardrobe which transports them to the land of Narnia. Covered in snow, Narnia is full of weird and wonderful creatures, including the mighty lion, Aslan; but it is also watched over by the evil White Witch, Jadis. Experience Tilda Swinton as the Witch and Liam Neeson voicing the Lion.

Now in its second year, the Sunset Series is a collaboration of the Liberty Community Development Corporation, the Liberty Public Library, the town’s Parks and Recreation Department, and Floyd and Bobo’s Bakery and Snack Palace.

Future showings include the MGM musical classic The Wizard of Oz; the high-powered blockbusters Batman Begins and E.T. – the Extra Terrestrial, and several animated favorites including Wall*E and Toy Story. The entire film series schedule is posted on the Greater Liberty Chamber of Commerce website: www.libertychamber.org .
