Dear friends:

I would like to invite you to "An Evening with Mozart"; an all Mozart concert this Saturday night, May 22 at 7:00 PM in Milford, PA with the Pike County Choral Society.

I will be featured singing Exsultate Jubilate K. 165 for soprano solo and organ with organist Henry Repp. The concert will open with choral performances of two other works by Mozart, “Ave Verum” and “Laudate Dominum,” featuring solo work by alto Jennifer Ponzoni.

Mozart's Requiem Mass in D minor (K. 626) will be the centerpiece of the evening with soloists soprano Julie Ziavras, tenor Marshall Cooper, alto Jennifer Ponzoni and baritone Charles Osborne, conducted by Johanan Bickhardt and accompanied by organist Henry Repp. The Requiem Mass in D minor was Mozart’s last work before his death in Vienna at age 35 on Dec. 5, 1791. It is one of his most respected and popular works, although it is still debated how much of the music Mozart completed before his death and how much was later composed by Franz Xaver Süssmayr or others.
