poemz
Written and performed by Richard Hoehler.
Described as “George Carlin meets Ogden Nash meets Snoop Dog with a PG-13 rating,” Hoehler's witty rants run riot from automated answering services and deceptive advertising to dress codes, aging, and the proliferation of pharmaceuticals. Featured, along with continually emerging pieces, are many audience favorites, including Hang up the Phone, A Low Carb Bagel with Lite Veggie Cream Cheese, and Depression: The Musical.
Part actor, part poet, part spokesperson and perhaps even part anthropologist for America's unseen. –Clive Barnes
