The Walker Valley Community Enhancement Committee will hold their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday June 16 in the schoolhouse, 6 Marl Rd & Route 52, Walker Valley NY at 7:00pm. Donation requests for new winter pole banners will be discussed. All interested area residents are invited to participate. The Walker Valley Reiki Healing Circle will be in the schoolhouse on Tuesday June 21 for their regular monthly session starting with a meditation at 7:00pm. If you are interested in Reiki or any other type of energy work this is a good place to start. Practitioners are available to demonstrate the modality as they take turns practicing their techniques on each other or guests who attend the session. Donations are appreciated. The Community Garden Club of Pine Bush will hold their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday June 16 at 6:30pm in the community room in the Crawford Town Hall, Route 302, Pine Bush NY. The program for the evening will be a “Natural Summer Wreath” workshop. The members and guests will participate in the making of a wreath from natural flowers, herbs and grasses found in our locale. Here’s another fun event for you ladies out there hosted by the Walden Sportsmen’s Club, 1823 Route 52, Walden NY on Sunday June 13. Right after the regular morning trap shoot, around 12noon, join us for our Ladies Invitational Trap Shoot. Shotguns, ammo and safety gear will be provided or bring your own. Great opportunity for you to experience the fun of trap shooting for the first time or to re-introduce it into your life. Coaches will be there to assist. Cost per person per round is $5.00.
