Subject: Quality Blankets

A post by Fred Baker from the 9th Texas board:

Gents,

For those hoping to upgrade an old, skinner row blanket with one of the best in the market, look no further than Family Heirloom Weavers.

FHWs ceased authentic blanket and cloth production to concentrate on other product lines several months ago but they will be producing a limited time small run of quality blankets in August.

Here's what they've told me-

"We are planning 3 different types as long as the demand is there. The first blanket is almost finished and the next 2 are scheduled to go in immediately. Samples will be sent out the end of this month and blankets will be ready for delivery at the end of August in time for the fall season. We will offer them in complete (hand sewn) or kit form. Prices have not been set yet. I will be updating the website this week to include this limited offering. Be on the lookout for your samples."

Contact them at-717-246-5797 or pdk62@mailstation.com or www.familyheirloomweavers.com/

I own one of their outstanding blankets and I am very satisfied with it.

These things are scare as hen's teeth anymore so I advise any and all to leap on this chance.

Are they pricey? A bit. But they're worth every penny.

You get what you pay for so save up your beer money and get a quality item that will improve your impression.

The three things most visible on any impression- your hat, your jacket, and your blanket.

Think on that and then get one hot off the looms in August.

Kind regards,

Fred Baker
