Actually, this wasn't a vacation. I am an American living in Scotland, as my Scottish husband didn't want to move to the United States. I am originally from North Carolina. I miss North Carolina, and the United States as a whole, but I made the choice to be here with my husband. One thing I love about living here is that my husband and I go on family outings to places that are within reach and are wheelchair accessible, either by train or by bus. And both allow dogs on them. Thank you all! Sophie is so adorable and very friendly! She is 3 1/2 years old. My husband (who took the picture) and I adopted her ultimately from the local Cat and Dog Home (their version of the animal shelter here). Sophie is a mixture of Lassie collie and another breed (we don't know which one). And thank you for your welcome! Also, you can see why what happened to Bud early in Season 8 touched me so much.
