  Hi all,
  
  Am pretty much a newcomer to JAG, and a definite newbie as far as fan fiction is concerned.
  
  I live in the UK, and missed JAG when it was being broadcast, but have now managed to amass copies of all episodes, and I am definitely hooked.
  
  I've written (or am in the process of writing) fourteen JAG stories - but warning: I've done a lot of AU exploration where Harm and Mac are not the chosen pairing, although I try not bash any character, and have changed story lines accordingly. If there is great opposition, I won't post those stories here. Let me know.

  It seems like this is the place to introduce ourselves, so I guess that's what I'll do. My pen-name is Newbie because I still consider myself relatively new to the writing world. I have written a few fanfics for the JAG fandom and a few others for different shows but I still dont feel comfortable enough witht he writing game to consider my self a professional.
  
  I live in the new england area of the united states and I've lived in the same town my whole life. Someday I'd like to travel.
  
  But on to the real reason why I'm posting here. I've been looking for a beta reader for some of my stories and I didnt know where else to ask but I figured someone from here would know? if anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated!   I'm so confused, there are about a hundred new forums in my absence.
  Would this be the place to post to update you on my life (if for some reason you care) and find out how you all are doing? Oh well, I'm going to do it anyways....
  So for those of you who knew me when I was 12 (and *incredibly* stupid, I cannot stress that one enough, how did you ever put up with me?) A LOT has happened since then... graduated high school, finished freshman year in college, got a job working in a daycare, I'm taking care of 2 low income children every night (they're ages 5 and 9, I love them like they're my own) and developed plenty of new obsessions to add to my JAG one :P In April I became a Child Passenger Safety Technician (I install car seats) and am now ridiculously obsessed with that... have since become obsessed with House, L&O SVU and the 4400 and wrote fanfic (which was way better than what I used to write) for all of the above...
  Anyways I see a few familiar names around here... it's been a while though so my memory is kinda foggy (and sometimes selective) so what are you all up to these days? What's gone on since we all kinda drifted off after the finale?
