Subject: green card

I have just received my "Green Card" from Equity RedStar. It covers Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Rep, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Croatia, Iran, Israel, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Morocco, Moldova, Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovak Rep., Slovenia, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, plus all the normal (what I think of as normal anyway) European Countries, a total of 45 countries. However there is a caveat. I quote verbatim "The cover for Serbia is restricted to the Republic of Montenegro and to those geographical parts of Serbia which are under the control of the Government of Serbia" I have asked the underwriters whether the Government of Serbia is in control of Kosovo and got an emphatic NO in big letters not even the Government of Kosovo is in control of Kosovo, If you doubt this see todays news. Nato troops are removing road blocks erected by the minority Serbs and Albanian Kosovians have been murdered by disgruntled Serbs (allegedly) the underwriters are adamant that no one will be issuing cover for Kosovo in the immediate future despite the fact that has now been recognised as a Sovereign state by over 90 countries.
Time to rethink the route perhaps????
