Hi Jon & Spike

Good heads up on the police and cameras, I think its the same in every country, if you are driving outside of the conditions or involved in an incident and you have a camera then you can expect to have it viewed. This can work for you and against you. If you are involved in an incident and its not your fault then you have the proof.

The camera can be covered very quickly with a wooly hat or cap etc.

I have to say I have been stopped by the French police for speeding and there was about six of them and all they did was look at the car and liked the camera setup. The Italians pulled me at the border crossing, just to look at the car, they liked the cameras also. Same with the English.

Judging by the "Final Instructions" the roads sound like they will be testing us a bit in the mountains. This will not give any police anything to worry about with regard to cameras.

I have recently upgraded my camera system with a realtime GPS speed overlay. This could cause you a problem. But you will not have this on your systems.

See you all in SOF

PS Dont forget your snow chains!!!
