I know how to BALANCE THE BUDGET (most single moms learn that fast if they want to provide for their children). You start with figuring out what items are NECESSARY and that is your BUDGET limit. If you should happen to have a few dollars above that number then put it into savings to help you over those ROUGH spots. Then if you still have a few dollars you can treat the family for something SPECIAL. You cannot take any money out of the NECESSARY envelope above the items on the NECESSARY list! You can't BORROW and create any DEBT!!

In the case of the political budgets my way to handle it would be to delete about one fourth of the amount that is above and beyond the NECESSARY and most likely unconstitutional items, that have been spent - then repeat for the following 3 years (that makes the 4 year term for each President. Then the following four year sprint repeat this same action until the BUDGET is down to what is actually CONSTITUTIONAL and not Ear marked by politicians to gather votes in their districts.

Once we get the Budget down to what is needed for CONSTITUTIONAL items then pass legislation that says no more Earmarks - no more handing over one red cent to any agency or project that is outside the Constitutional limits.

Americans need to learn how to live on their income - not on how much they can borrow or steal.

At my age I remember very well how our family would have to SAVE in order to buy an ice box (now called a refrigerator) - or any other appliance - and finding a bank that considered you trustworthy enough to carry a mortgage on a place to live. If the local general store (grocery etc) didn't allow you to have a *TAB* you had to have the $$$ each time you went to the store (NECESSARY).

I doubt that most Americans today - other than us old characters - could last one month without their CREDIT CARDS (note that is PLURAL) - loans for vehicles and housing.
How many even have a savings account much less have any EMERGENCY funds in it??
Politicians have grown all too accustomed to living off of the Taxpayers and Debt to foreign nations.

Let's hope that Pres. Trump can not only DRAIN THE SWAMP but also cut off the teat suckers and pay off the DEBT those before him created.

Look at each of the budget items and then try to find them in the Constitution - those are the ones to TARGET and eliminate or defund one fourth at a time. No $$ to the U.N. or Foreign Aid - EPA - Dept. of Education - no more private planes for politicians other than the president (remember PEE LOUSY and her private plane??)

Our national Debt is INSANE and so are those who keep adding to it.
