This week has been one of little sleep as I keep having so many things going thru my mind all night long. I really believe this is a directive for me to post these things out. So, here goes.
Last night it was all about the false teachings in the different denominations and I should have kept a note pad by my bed as the thoughts kept rushing thru my mind. The ONE theme that kept being REPEATED over and over was what Jesus kept saying to Satan in the Wilderness as Satan was tempting Christ..... Satan would say something and Jesus would reply with. "IT IS WRITTEN!!!", and then say what the TRUTH was that was written. Satan loves to state things in his deceptive manner hoping to fool and mislead those who hear his words. Read this and embed it in your mind and heart so you aren't led astray by false teachers.
Matthew 4:
1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
I have long ranted against the *doctrines* of the many denominations but last night many came to me that need to be stated. If you disagree with my points feel free to respond but please, rather than just disagree, be sure to tell me WHERE in the Holy Bible it supports your disagreements. I prefer to see where IT IS WRITTEN in Scripture than to argue the issue since *doctrines* have come to be accepted as truth when it is merely the adding or subtracting of words which we have been warned against doing such. DEUT: 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Remember that Doctrines are for the most part rules (commandments) made by MAN not by God.
We have some denominations that hold Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus, as deity, which there is no place in scripture that I can find that to be stated. In fact scripture is clear about that. No where will you find that anyone is to pray to MARY or any of the 'Saints'. In fact when the apostles asked Jesus to teach them to pray this is how he taught them:
Luke 11: 1-4
1And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
2And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
3Give us day by day our daily bread.
4And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
While Mary was the earthly vessel used to carry and give birth to the human form of Jesus - Jesus has no HEAVENLY 'mother" - only a heavenly FATHER. When Jesus was hanging on the cross he called Mary, "WOMAN", as he told her:
John 19:26,27
26When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
27Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
I find no mention at all of rosary beads, genuflecting, saying so many Our Fathers and Hail Mary's, bowing to the Pope and other high church officials. In fact those who bowed to angels were immediately corrected by the angels to NOT do that, the only one to bow to was God.
Also this major point: Matt. 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
I also find no place in the Bible that says any man can forgive you for your sins. That is limited to the blood shed by Christ on the Cross - said blood that is only effective when we ask Jesus into our hearts and are Born again. That shed blood is what covers and wipes out our sins.
There are more along this same line but I will move to the Mormon doctrine which really has some false teachings.
One being the teaching that God was really once a man who progressed to godhead. That he has a wife. No Trinity but they are three separate gods. Worthy members may also be exalted to godhead themselves. they also teach that Jesus was married and that his death on the cross does not provide full atonement but provides everyone with resurrection. They also believe in being saved by works. And this one --- No eternal life without Mormon membership. And then there is the secret temple rituals.
I've noted numerous times about the phrase, "God Bless America" being something that isn't going to happen UNLESS America and Americans REPENT (change direction) and bring back God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit to our daily lives. We have churches that have filled their pulpits with what God calls ABOMINATIONS (the Sodomites and Lesbians) - the removal of the Bible from all the public places and even the saying of what was fine decades ago but now is classed as hate speech. That is one of the changes that Pres. Trump has brought back - it is now okay to mention God, Jesus, (other than as a swear word) and to publicly PRAY.
We really are living in the LAST DAYS (our Last Days) - which is why I have been posting so many posts about praying for REVIVAL in America and the world. Look at the increase in HATE, ANGER, IMMORALITY, going on world wide. All these *invasions* world wide are direct works of Satan and his demons to destroy all Christian believers. That is part of the increase in the blasting of the Sodomite and Lesbian and the totally confused as to WHAT they are. All the so called PRIDE parades and the favorable publicity and even court rulings protecting the ABOMINATIONS. I remind readers of what happened to Sodom & Gomorrah - what happened in the days of Noah.
I could go on here for many more pages but suffice it right now to say for all of you who are members of denominational religions - to examine each and every doctrine they teach to make sure it is really in scripture and not just more FALSE TEACHINGS meant to lead you astray. We are instructed by the Lord to DISCERN the teachings:
1 John 4:1 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Hebrews 5:14 - But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Colossians 2:8 - Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
I hope this will awaken at least a few readers to hold those who are leaders in your church to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ not some other *gospel* which will lead you to eternal Hell. It is really ALL on each of us to DISCERN what is TRUTH and what is LIES.
I am in the process of compiling lists of books that I have read and recommend to others
(ie: The Invisible War - When pigs Move in - etc) and also of wonderful knowledge building web sites on Christianity. It is another of those things that I feel pressed to do.
