Over many years I have commented about the swiftness of death - that not one of us has any clue as to when we shall draw our last breath. When God formed us at conception He knew the number of our days. Very few folks think they are going to die in one more minute or one more year or another decade. They live this earthly life as if it will never end and they will never be standing before God and our Lord, Jesus, for Judgement. Very few live their lives in a fashion that they would behave as if Jesus were standing along side them and they could see Him there - seeing and hearing all we say and do. As I often ask - if you could see Jesus standing right with you would you still do the things you do? Would you still utter the words and remarks that you do? Would you go into places of questionable activities - would you watch movies or videos of the things you do now? How about the reading material you put before your eyes and mind? If you aren't Born Again (repented and accepted Christ as your Saviour) picture your life being replayed for all to see the things you have done. Those who are Born Again won't have to go thru that as their sins have been WASHED away by the Blood of Christ.

When you are prone to say swear words - to look at sex filled material - to joke about certain things that are not glorifying God - understand that the Lord God knows it all and you can't hide a thing from Him.

Perhaps you really don't care if you spend Eternity in Hell with NO possibility of ever escaping that eternal fire. I prefer to spend eternity with my Father, God, and with my Saviour, Jesus Christ. There is only one kind of FIRE INSURANCE that any of us can purchase and there is only one Insurance policy available and that policy is to obey the Word of God by Confessing our sins - REPENTING of them - and then asking the Lord, Jesus Christ into our lives - and like all new babies we need to grow in His Word - we need to study His Word and GROW - no one can remain as a baby and live long.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
No one is going to spend eternity with God The Father or with Jesus Christ by some human or the false teachings of some denomination.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5: 16-26
16This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Matt. 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Matthew 4:10
"Away from me, Satan!" Jesus declared. "For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.'"

Matthew 25:41
Then He will say to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Luke 10:18
So He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

John 12:31
Now judgment is upon this world; now the prince of this world will be cast out.

2 Corinthians 11:3
I am afraid, however, that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may be led astray from your simple and pure devotion to Christ.

I spend many hours each day in prayer for those who have not turned to Christ according to His Word. That is my calling in life. The thought of any of you spending eternity in Hell is so heartbreaking to me. I have watched numerous family members and dear friends who have refused to heed the Lords instructions, my favorite uncle just a short time before he died made this statement o me not long before he breathed his last breath - Didn't want any *Christian* talk, he was "born a Catholic and will die a Catholic". I can't tell you how that broke my heart as I had loved him all my life - he was my constant buddy (only 9.5 years older than me) and I followed him around like a shadow when I was little. Then I think of my former husband and how he lived and held the Lord at a distance - how I spent around 13 years praying for him to come to the Lord Jesus, in answer to my prayers, he did call out and was Born Again just before his last breath at 46 yrs of age.

So, if you know me - then understand that if you haven't asked Jesus Christ into your heart and been Born Again - that I am standing daily in prayer for your deliverance - for you to Confess your sins (to God, not some human being), REPENT of them - and then ask Jesus Christ to live in your heart - and then you begin to GROW in Christ by studying His Word, and living your life according to His Word. Let your words and actions clearly reflect that CHANGE you have made in your life. Do it now as your last breath may be just after you read this post.

Do you KNOW Jesus - or - do you just know OF Him? You can't spend eternity with someone you don't KNOW.

It isn't who 'you' are - It is WHOSE you are - Who do YOU serve each day??? Would others know by watching you each day??

Franklin Graham on recent celebrity deaths

Thursday, December 29, 2016

Franklin Graham headshot micAddressing the recent surge in celebrity deaths, Rev. Franklin Graham stressed that everyone – whether they are a famous musician, actor or actress, sports star, cultural icon or someone unknown – each and every person on the planet has one thing in common: death.

Graham took to his Facebook page on Tuesday to remind Americans that life is short and that everyone is just seconds away from eternal life … or death.

"This week, pop icon George Michael passed away at age 53, Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher died at 60, and award-winning Watership Down author Richard Adams died at the age of 96,” the president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) posted to his Facebook following. “From the unknown to the most well-known, we all have something in common death."
