thanks for that i can remember going into marshes shop on north rd and buying a pair of jeans for 99p,i can also remember a garage that had 2 petrol pumps in which is now tuned into the playing park opposite the bungallows,it would be a pity if the corner shop on silver st shut has it is the only shop remaining in pontywaun.
