My first job was as a caddy at Vernon Hills. probably in 1956. Also worked (with Dennis Grasso) in the pro shop at Leewood CC. Pumped gas at Power Test 28.9. Worked in a mattress shop that was, I think, in the store that was previously Burger's(sp?). My last job before graduating was in a cabinet maker's shop on Marbledale Place. Had a major crush on the owners daughter even before I worked there, and for a long time afterwards.
