I don't recall hearing about an Eastchester connection to the Adams family but it is certainly possible. The area's colonial heritage is rich, yet like many areas largely untaught in a meaninful way. Sounds like locating the house would be an interesting persuit.

The first stop for one researching the topic should be the 1790 and 1800 US Census. Isolate on that portion of the region covered by present-day Eastchester, which at the time may have been called by another name.

There are archives of newspapers from that era which may have contained stories about the visits of the Vice President, perhaps even in the "society" pages of the times.

You may have or know someone with a subscription to Ancestry.com, which would have those tools and many others available.
