In late May of 1960 the new section of Greenvale School was complete. It was a seperate building built behind the existing school. Now here is the funny part, the 6th grade boys (2 classes) had to move the desks and chairs from the basement of the old school into the new school. Child labor at it's best. We carried the desks and chairs from one building into the other. Someone else out there has got to remember this. I remember it like it was yesterday. The 6th grade teachers at the time were Mrs. Boyer and Mr. Coates. I believe Mrs. Foster was the principal.
