Muko...sure I remember Bosco... and Coca Marsh. Last Halloween when I was shopping for candy I found a bag of Clark bars. Had not seen Clark bars in many years. They never made it to the trick or treaters..... and before Captain Jack McCarthy (who lived on Alkamont Avenue or near there I believe) the Popeye show was hosted by Captain Alan Swift. When Scott Muni was on AM radio he frequently had a contest called "Make It Or Break It." He would play a new release, then take calls from the audience voting whether they liked it or not. If the record made it, he would play it as the final song on his program. If the song didn't make it he would break the record live on the air. Remember back in 1967, 98.7, WOR FM, was the first FM rock station. Scott Muni was one of the original hosts and it was on that station and his program I heard Sgt. Pepper the day it was released. He played the entire album, something considered revolutionary at the time.
