I spoke with Donna tonight. The doctors have advised that they have no choice except to do the open heart surgery as soon as possible. His infectious disease doctor had originally hoped for 6 to 8 months. After further test and meeting with the Cardiac Specialist it was found that the Aortic Valve is basically destroyed. If he does not have the surgery he has no chance of living. The surgery will be complicated, but there is really no choice. The surgery will be within the next week to 10 days at the longest. As soon as I know the date I will advise you. Please pass this on. Everybody talk to the Big Man Upstairs to get George through this.
