One thing I like about the area where they keep the cats at KK is that they do keep the lights down low, and ask that people who are NOT owners of cats in there to STAY OUT of the cat room. All in all, we were pleased with the care Sassy got while she was "stuck" there (indefinitely).

Now - I don't have the same opinion about the quality of the dog kennels. The STAFF is GREAT - they work there because they LOVE ANIMALS.. and I've seen them talking sweetly to the boarded dogs, and I know they do their best. Personally, though, I would not leave my dog there. Too many ticks/fleas and chances for illness. The good news is that they're building a NEW kennel facility which will (should) be state of the art. :) It's about time!
