Tim got it right about Hollywood not making very many good horror movies in the last 20-30 years.

Thinking about all the horror movies that come to mind that I saw in the last 40 years, I picked out the ones I enjoyed the most.

The list is based on my opinion of how much these 1970s to the present films entertained me, rather than just being scary.

I'm not including any of the later Hammer Horrors because I put them in a league of their own.

Although I can't re-watch any of these films anywhere near as much as I've re-watched a Universal horror Film, the movies on the first list still entertain me whenever I decide to re-watch one of them.

Puppet Master 3 - A Cheapo, but guilty pleasure, I like seeing Nazis getting what they deserve.

I liked this second batch of Movies when I first saw them, but now I find myself reaching for the remote to FF thru a lot of scenes that bore me.
