Dan is correct about The Ghost of Frankenstein and all its details.

The fourth film in Universal's Frankenstein series, The Ghost of Frankenstein is the first to have someone other than Boris Karloff playing the Monster. Lon Chaney Jr takes over the role for this one. Chaney is the only actor to have played all four major Universal monsters, The Wolf Man, The Mummy, the Frankenstein Monster and Dracula.

The Ghost of Frankenstein is also the first in the series to be reduced to a B-grade production, meaning a smaller budget. However, I have always been impressed with its cast, including Lon Chaney Jr, Cedric Hardwicke, Ralph Bellamy, Lionel Atwill, Bela Lugosi and Evelyn Ankers.
