Subject: Favorite moments: Duel (1971) & Killdozer (1974)

The first one is an absolute classic, based on a short story by Richard Matheson and a young Steven Spielberg directed it. I recall I was so impressed with the film's locales, I began to survey the entire Soledad Canyon region when I was 15 and spent 10 years in the region, leading to many adventures. It was Dennis Weaver's best job of acting I ever saw and felt.

Duel is one of the best TV movies ever made. Some memorable scenes include:

Dennis Weaver confronting the driver at a truck stop. It turns out to be the wrong man, who is not too happy about being falsely accused.

The truck tries to push the Plymouth into the path of an oncoming train.

The truck crashes into a roadside attraction featuring rattlesnake cages, releasing the reptiles, while the lady who owns the place runs around frantically.

Weaver tries to warn the bus driver about the dangerous truck, then is astonished to see the truck helping out the bus. The truck driver is playing cat and mouse.
