Subject: Patricia Neal

Patricia Neal (1926-2010) recently passed away. She was Helen Benson in The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951). Although it was released by Twentieth Century Fox, not Universal, it is a classic science fiction film, which is a subject often discussed at this forum.

Another memorable Patrica Neal film is Hud (1963) starring Paul Newman.

TCM has been paying a special tribute to her in between their movies this week. In TV, she is best remembered as the dying mother of three children in the two-part 'Little House' story "Remember Me."
