A fine actress who enjoyed a long and successful career.

I remember her best for her work in James Whale's Universal classics The Old Dark House (1932) and The Invisible Man (1933). More recently I have come to appreciate her lesser known Universal "B" pictures like Secret of the Blue Room (1933), Gift of Gab (1934) and The Girl on the Front Page (1936).

The mega-blockbuster Titanic (1997) made her an icon to a whole new generation of moviegoers.

Sorry to hear about Gloria Stuart's passing.
And I totally agree that she was a very fine actress.
