The two films cited by Officer Torch are among the timeless classics of cinema history.

Mr Heston did a few science fiction films in the 1960s and 1970s, including The Omega Man (1971) and Soylent Green (1973). But his best science fiction picture has to be Planet of the Apes (1968).
