Gale Sondergaard always looked like a villainess in whatever role she played. Too bad she didn't do more horror films.

Don't forget Abbott & Costello's THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES. Gale played the housekeeper "Emily", in a humourous takeoff
of Mrs, Danvers of REBECCA. A real hoot!

I don't know how I managed to overlook "The Time Of Their Lives" because it's one of my favorite Abbott & Costello films?

And you're right Joy, Gale was a hoot as Emily.
