Back in the day when I was a kid and I first saw "The Gift of Gab," I was disappointed as usual because it wasn't what I expected. I thought it was going to be a horror film. The only reason I wanted to see it was for Karloff and Lugosi, but they only appeared for a very short time, which added to my disappointment.

But in later viewings, especially after I had become a fan of Edmund Lowe and Gloria Stuart, I enjoyed the movie very much. Today I would recommend this film to any fan of Lowe or Gloria Stuart.

And the scenes with Karloff and Lugosi is an added bonus.
