Subject: Waterloo Bridge (1940) on TCM, Thursday, Nov. 5th

The 1940 remake airs Thursday on TCM at 9:30 AM (EST), 6:30 AM (PST). An excellent remake of the 1931 Universal film with Robert Taylor and Vivian Leigh.

I am so looking forward to this one...AGAIN! She was so incredibly lovely in this film, and the music of Swan Lake fits her perfectly. Add that to a passion for Sir. C. Aubrey Smith, and there you have it. To give the devil her due, I WILL check out Mr. Whale's version..but to me, "MYRA" belongs to Vivien Leigh..
