The footprints in the snow scene is great, I agree.

One memorable line is, "Look, he's all eaten away!"

It's amazing "seeing" Griffin's general mental and moral decline, thanks to the superb voice work of Claude Rains.

"I meddled in things that man must leave alone."

I think just about every moment from the start of the film, to the finish where the invisible man appears, is good.

But a couple of other memorable scenes, besides the afore mentioned scenes, would be when Griffin goes mad and kills the chief constable, then yells "hoax is it?"

I also like the scene where one of the villagers in the search party runs into the invisible Griffin, and then Griffin says: "Here I am, aren't you glad you found me?" Then you see the villager being thrown down the hill, with a few more villagers following after.
