This set was released in in 2007 in region 2 DVD (France). Here are some details.

The Phantom Lady (1944)
Cobra Woman (1944)
The Killers (1946)

An interesting DVD release, and of course the French love their film noir. Hopefully a region 1 release will eventually follow.

The Killers is one of the best of the many excellent crime dramas released during the 1940s. The terse opening sequence set in a small town diner is riveting.

Tim,

"The Killers" is available by Criterion, but Universal should get them out here. This year, all they seemed interested in was the Blu-Ray vs. HD format war and in the ensuing chaos, they have been working on BR releases and NO standard DVD releases of 30's and 40's films materialized in 2008.

DVD sales fell down in late 2007 and came back up earlier this year after it was all over. I think 2009 will show better results for sure. Be sure to click the link I have provided and email UNI your request. Thanks!
