Geez, where to begin...!

The introduction of the Monster in "Frankenstein"; also, the murder of Dr. Waldman

The awakening of "The Mummy"

The unveiling of "The Invisible Man"; also, the scene later where, wearing only pants, he skips down the road singing "Nuts in May"!

Just about ALL of the 1934 "The Black Cat"! And MOST of "The Bride of Frankenstein"!

Lugosi's delicious performance in "Son of Frankenstein"

The drowning of Vincent Price's character in "The Tower of London"

A tired, wounded, Vincent Price borrowing the scarecrow's clothes in the "The Invisible Man Returns"

An electrified Lon Chaney Jr. breaking out of the deathhouse in "Man Made Monster"; also his death scene

"The Wolf Man" -- Nuff said!

Dracula's coffin emerging from the swamp in "Son of Dracula", also the scene where the doctor encounters the undead woman in her bedroom

The discovery of the Monster and the Wolf Man in the ice in "House of Frankenstein"...also, the death of Daniel and the quicksand finish

Jon Hall VS John Carradine and his protective, unseen dog in "The Invisible Man's Revenge"

Kharis carries his rapidly aging, reincarnated love into the swamp in "The Mummy's Ghost"

Dracula's seduction of the nurse in "House of Dracula", and the frenzied chase through the village of the 'vampirized' doctor

Some great selections there, Alan. Rathbone and Karloff drowning Vincent Price in a wine vat was one of the more memorable scenes in Tower of London (1939). After they close the lid Rathbone says, referring to Price's fondness for wine, "He wanted his malmsey..."

Hi, Tim!

Thanks, and I enjoyed your choices as well. It's been a pretty long while since I've seen any of those scenes, yet it's remarkable how burned into my brain they are!

I'll be pulling out the old films soon though, because my oldest grandkids are getting close to 'old enough' for their initiation. That leads me to a new thread I'm going to post, and I'd definitely enjoy some feedback...
