Subject: The Mad Doctor of Market Street ( 1942 )

A mad scientist is forced to leave San Francisco when his experiments become known. He lands on a tropical island, takes control and terrorizes the native population. The survivor of a shipwreck washes ashore on the island. He sees what is happening and determines to free the natives from his rule. Lionel Atwill's last lead role. Release date: 2/27/42. This film never made it video and is housed at Library of Congress. Screen Gems distributed 16 mm syndication prints of the film in 1957.
