Subject: My Ex

Whenever anyone asked why I married Perry I would always answer that it was because he made me laugh and I knew I wouldn’t get bored. That last sentiment turned out to be an undesirable understatement. Our marriage lasted a brief four years. But after the bitterness ended between us, we made an effort to get along because of our daughter, Jacquie. As the years went by, over 20 now, we actually became good friends. He continued to make me laugh more than anyone else I ever met. His wit was unsurpassed.

Thank you, Perry, for your gifts of my daughter and my step-daughters and grand-daughters. They have so enriched my life. I, with love, wish you well.
