We were all so saddened to hear about Perry's death. We only knew him for a relatively short while, as our US Brian Epstein, but during that time, most of it spent on a tour bus rattling around east coast America, got to know the man pretty damn well. Sometimes he was hilarious - always ready with a swift Mathau-esque one-liner.... sometimes infuriating - his penchant for watching the Cowboy channel into the dead of night was controversial to say the least. (We all have stories of being woken to the sound of whooping Apaches and cavalry trumpets at 4 in the morning on more occasions than I care to mention)....but always he was relentlessly passionate about our little band and it's that we shall miss him for the most.
Neil H and the Bootleg Beatles.
