Subject: Remembering "uncle" Perry

As I sit remembering all the perks and bonuses that came with Uncle Perry's job, I am saddened by the fact that i never really got to know him on a personal level. He was always in my mind as Renee's "larger than life" super - DAD. My earliest memory of Perry was back in Binghamton N.Y., It was about 1978 or so, i was 7 or 8 yo, sick and in bed, My mom woke me up and turned on the radio, Uncle Perry was on the radio and told me to "get well" or something like that.. Well to a 7 year old,, that was pretty huge. As the years went on,, Uncle Perry was never hesitant or reluctant to get me tickets to concerts, backstage passes, records, whatever...I was quite the "bigshot" in school, as noone else got to meet Robert Plant, Julian Lennon, AC/DC, and others. By the way, Im just the son of Perry's first ex-wife's sister, but that never stopped the generosity.
